

It
is an unfortunate paradox that the more stressed one becomes the
more one needs to be aware of self care and to listen to the body,
yet this is precisely when there is little time or motivation
to do so. When we do not check in with ourselves and when we neglect
self care that is when the pressures that are experienced can
begin to manifest as physical and emotional symptoms. If these
continue to be unacknowledged this imbalance can worsen and the
body may no longer have the innate ability to self-regulate and
restore balance and harmony, resulting in continued symptoms and
poor well-being.
I
offer an integrated therapy aiming to balance all aspects of oneself
(physical, emotional, spiritual, environmental and energic) so
that one can live a more Present, Authentic & Healthy Life.
I do this by combining my experience as a registered Counselling
Psychologist, BodyTalk Practitioner and Hypnotherapist. My approach
to each individual is based on the beliefs and opinions, expectations,
and presenting concerns of each client. I may use only one approach
or combine all three in one session or throughout the course of
treatment.
Sessions can range from exploring practical coping mechanisms
and more healthy ways of thinking and behaving for day-to-day
life, to exploring deeper unconscious beliefs and emotions through
hypnotherapy or at a body and energy level using BodyTalk. I have
deep respect for any individual who chooses to enter into a journey
of healing, and work with each individual at a level that is most
comfortable for him/her.
